World for new installed lots? [SOLVED] Empty World for new installed lots? [SOLVED]

Post by Guest Sun 10 Jun 2012, 12:57

Umm I'm not sure if I'm putting it right or no but simply, I want to know when I add a new lot (for example) whether it is a residential or commercial , in which world is it installed? Or does it appear in all worlds? Something like Lucky Simoleon Casino , when I install it , where will it appear or do I need certain EPs for some contents? Cause I installed a residential lot downloaded from Sims 3 exchange and I got something like this:

World for new installed lots? [SOLVED] Untitl11

Thank you in advance

Some user created lots are going to have custom content or content from expansions or stuff packs, and you might not always have everything that it needs. When that happens, the game will automatically replace all of those objects with base game objects. This can kind of ruin the look of the house/lot, but you can go back in and replace them how you want, if you wanted to.

As for where does it show up, it'll appear in the house, or community lot, bin, which is on the bottom of the screen in edit town mode. You've just got to search through the other tabs above the spot where your created sims are.
