I can't re-download it T^T [SOLVED]

Hello I downloaded The Sims 3 from extremezone a long time ago (actually just last year) and played a lot. It was fun and then I got bored and deleted it. THAT'S WHERE I DID A HUGE MISTAKE! I wasn't such an expert with computers at that time so I thought that deleting the "Electronic Arts" folder would uninstall The Sims 3. Now, I have re-downloaded it back (cause I miss the old days of building those overly-huge houses and having fun torturing the sims -cough- -cough- I also wanted to try out seasons -cough-). When I try to install it and do the set-up (run autorun) all over again, it said that I have already installed a previous version and I was like,



"I installed it...? But-! Didn't I already delete it?" I wanted to uninstall it but I couldn't and I don't know how (cause I deleted the Electronic Arts folder where the uninstall application is) and I really miss the game and want to play it but fate has decided not to let me play as punishment for deleting it in the first place ........

BTW, I downloaded the G4TW torrent instead of extremezone's torrent... Is it because of that?

I read over what you posted and I believe that what you are suffering from is Notfullyuninstalleditis. lol
Even when you uninstall a game , Files are still left behind in the registry and folders unless you have a specific program or you know how to remove it yourself.

I think you should try to Manually uninstall the game first using the information provided in this link:
