Download shows up as 20 different folders. [SOLVED]

Hey there.

When i download any sims 3 expansions, the folders are splitted in something like 20 different folders. When i click the install icon it just jumps and then nothing happens. I tried to put the files in the correct places, but it doesn't seem to work. What is weird is that i have both pets and seasons installed from Games 4 the world, and they didn't make the same show. Any ideas how to solve this problem? I am using a Macbook Pro if that has anything to say.

You probably didn't download those from Games4theworld, did you? The Games4theworld versions consist of one .rar file. The one you downloaded, probably has a lot of .rar files.

I don't know about Mac OS, but on PC you'd right-click on the first one and choose "Extract here..." with WinRAR.

Yes i did download the ones from Games4theworld, i am completely sure. Tried different expansions and everything. And yes, when it has finished downloading it is 1 rar. file, and when i extract it, it turns into a mess of all the small files being everywhere...
