University Life won't load

Okay, so I had this thing. Everything was working fine until I installed UL. It installed perfeclty, no problem at all and everything was according to instructions. BUT, when I start the game up...nothing is loading. It's just all black screen and my mouse loading. And when I get into manager it says that sims does not respond. I updated my windows, took out all cc and even all sims 3 folder from documents. Game is updated and i reapplied ultimate fix and nothing helps!
I'm so close to crying because I wanted this so bad and I'm afraid I'll lost everything...

Do you use any mods? The same thing happened to me awhile ago and it was just one of my mods that needed updating. In my case after going though all my mods it ended up being a slider hack that needed updating.

Or if you're not sure, just back up and remove this folder completely: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\
