Game freezes in Create a family

while im creating a family my game freezes i used to have this problem pre-university but then i got the fix and it corrected everything, since getting university life and applying the fix it seems to happen about 5 minutes into playing the game wondering if you have any advice on how to fix it. and im sure ive applied the fix properly
