Help me to choose please!

so i have a tired computer and sadly i have to choose 2 EP to delete
i already deleted season because when it rains or snows, it freezes
now i'm asking wich one i'll erase? ...
Do you have an idea?

Well, which expansion packs do you have?

And as for Seasons, you really could keep it and just turn off the rain and snow ^_^

Turn off rain and hail, they mostly affect the gameplay. Snow doesn't require as much processing as those two and is not annoying.

As for EP's, I'd suggest getting rid of Supernatural and World Adventures. Those are ones I never use, yet I have them installed. + Zombies are terrible!

i feel so stupid i did not think about just turn off the rain and the snow pfff
because i'm sad about the missing objects now...

i've got all eps and kits and i like them very much... That's why it's so difficult to choose
but when the pc freezes or turn all black with graphics weird... pff no choice
i just though about keeping all the eps and kit and just turn off things like weather and creatures ... Cos fairy just do nothing so much important or even cool
so what can i turn off to optimize my computer?

Getting rid of pets will help a lot.

I would recommend getting a new computer myself. That way you're overall performance will improve and you'll also be able to play all your Sims.

yeah i would recommend the same but i'm broke right now...

I turned off creatures and weather and it's better - slow but better
i think about deleted Showtime... maybe if i got the force... lol

world adventures and showtime would be my choices.

I did this recently in prep for UL, I got rid of WA, ST, SN & LN, none of which I actually use,

I like to play realistically so ST and SN didn't do much for me.

When i hear people say that about the sims, all i can think of is 'Why not just go outside, its free!" but then i remember the furniture and freedom.

I would recommend the stuff packs. And generations. I hate toddlers, kids and teenagers. And their stuff. I mean, if i would want to play as a teenager i could just go outside, like i said. /rant

Pets and Seasons are pretty important, Supernatural as well unless you're one of those... those, who like to simulate real life in The Sims 3.

Generations and University Life would be the first ones I'd get rid of, Showtime is pretty pointless too, if only it didn't have pool tables DX

If you can't decide on which to uninstall, I would just turn off any un-needed settings (i.e. weather which you already did) and turn graphic settings down to lowest possible and see how that goes. Things like reflections really slow things down on old computers.


Personally I'd get rid of Ambitions. Professions are boring to me.
