Un-updateable

Hi!

I've tried installing University but I keep getting a message that says my game is unupdateable and the University can't install =(

Where did you get your Sims 3 base game from?

I'm having the same problem with mine ): I bought the Base Game.. I even uninstalled but it still won't work

I had this exact same problem. Because with the cracked versions we can't allow the game to update normally, you must use the ultimate fix (https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems).
The Ultimate fix has the latest update from the beginning of March 2013 (the fix is updated to keep your game updated). For mac I used the mirror link to download it but I don't think that matters - that's just what worked with my mac.

Apply the fix using the instructions, you probably followed these same steps when you first installed any of your games4theworld sims 3 content, then try installing again. It worked fine on mine. I haven't opened the game yet but I got past this problem with installing it so far anyway.
