Grey skinned Sim?

I downloaded a customized Sim created by another player and as I opened the Sim in CAS, her skin was colored grey. The hair was different from the the actual design too. How can I fix this? Is there a mod to fix a customized Sim? or am I going to download the customizations used to that Sim so it will apply in the game?

When in game, the skin is colored jet black.
To describe the appearance, she looks like Mr. Popo in Dragon Ball.

That's because EA skins suck and most people prefer to use custom skins, some hair too.

You will need the same skin and hair mods the creator used. Sliders, makeup, eyes etc as well if you want the sim to look just like his / her's.

There was a list of the mods from that site where I downloaded the Sim, like the hair, the eyebrows, but I can't locate the download page for the skin and the clothes.

I guess I'll find another Sim, to download.

Yeah I got the link, some of those sites require registration but I'll see if I can locate at least some of the mods.

By the way the skins will most likely be a default replacement, if you don't want it to replace a default skin you need this:

It's not updated for anything past Late Night but it still works fine for me.
