canot get room mates in sims 3 uni

need help when im in sims 3 uni world when i move into a house insted of a dorm i canot get housemates no option comes up on the computer or phone for it any had the same problem and can anyone help with it

ive no cc.but now useing the error trap mod. but its the same again u can do everything in a.skies including having housemates in the uni world. but still the problem returning home after graduation is there even using the travel mod. so im thinking its the towns that are bugged the the only 1 the uni pack is gonna work with proper is sunset valley ill let u know my findings

right useing error trap works fine useing the travel mod thou just makes it worse . and also the game only seams to work proper with sunset valley, plessentview and a.skieys but only with error trap
