random game crashes?

okay, so the first time it crashed, it made a really weird buzzing noise, then it stopped, and froze, then it made the noise again and the game crashed. i think it was the world i was playing? but the second time it crashed everything just froze. i thought it was going to start back up, so i waited a while, but it never did, so i just closed it. the second time i was playing for about 3 or 4 hours. was it because i was playing for so long? i have the nraas error trap, story progression, expanded tattoo, and master controller. and a lot of cc for hair and objects and stuff. and i have all the eps & sps going down from university life to late night. i dont know if i should post my specs or not? so if i do need to just ask. uwu thanks for the help then

well, i had another game crash, my sim was coming home from the university, and i moved her to a different house, then as i was decorating it it crashed. :/

i tried the DEP one but i think it has something to do with the patch, because looking over the forum, a lot of people have been experiencing the same problem as me.

actually, it only crashes when im in build/buy or edit town and after a couple of minutes. i have a temporary fix, which is to just go out of build/buy every few minutes. it works for now, but i cant make any new houses or anything. :/ oh well, ill just wait for EA to fix it. thanks for the help though!!
