I am already patched. [SOLVED]

Hello.

I got a few torrents from here yesterday. I have tried to follow the instructions to the letter for the Sims 3 Ultimate Fix. However, there's a problem. I am already patched to 1.50. I patched my game when I bought University Life.

So when I try to install the Super Patch it won't let me. I get messages like this game is patched or error codes.

So should I skip the patch step?

I can get the game to load after two tries (it does this black screen back to windows, no error code thing).

What is super Patch?
If you're game is then there shouldn't be a problem...

Super Patch is the patch that you guys link to.

There are two manual patches that are released when a new patch is released. An incremental patch based on your region and the Super patch.



I wanted to check because I have never done this before. The way I got it working and stable was to skip step ten in the installation guide and go straight to installing the crack.

If it says you already have the latest version and asks you whether you want to update anyway, just choose "Yes".

I figured out the problem. My virus program has decided that The Sims 3 is a malicious application. I had it allow an exemption and all of my problems, lagging, launcher issues, game crashing, lagging, etc disappeared.

So I am solved.
