Sims 3 family ideas?

Hey guys! I'm interested in everyone sharing their sims 3 family ideas. I'm so bored with my regular mom, dad, child family. I'm not creative at all, so I was hoping you guys could help! Share your ideas and thoughts about families and what you think is fun.    

There are several ways I use to create "Fun" families. If your playing a rich Sim family hire a live in butler, add a dog, cat and horse in as well. Adding a simbot to any family is very interesting if you allow full autonomy with your Sims.

If your into game mods there are several good relationship mods that really add to working with families. You can use them to have Sims that are prudish or even Sims they are extremely "liberated". You can even add modern day problems like teen pregnancy and addiction into the game or create a utopian family where everything is hunky dory.

I've never had a simbot before, I'll have to try that. Thank you for your suggestions they're all very good! 

Personally I love to go the poverty route. Get rid of all your money, your job, your fancy house and sleep in the community lot and live off stuff you collect around town. It's fun because you actually have to mooch off people to use their shower and stuff. I ended up eating apples for a whole sim week.

If you have the expansions, make a twin sisters thing. Have one being a genie and one be a witch. Then, go branch off of that. I really like the poverty route too. That seems interesting and I think I am going to try that. I never thought of making a hobo.  

I used to get bored and adopt kids with them having two moms or two dads. I one time made an orphanage and adopted kid after kid after kid till my sim got all old and useless and became a little jar on a pedestal in the main hallway of the mansion where the teens have to take care of the new babies and the only actually birthed sims is a lazy cough potato and then i kick the sims out once they have become an adult and let the go live their own life. (yay story advancement)

Or I make a very unlucky clumsy family and see what kind of disasters I can create. Fires and drowning and accidents and the like. 

I also like to make anti-tech sims where they absolutely live like Amish and they own a farm and everyone is a farmer and have the lights be candles and stuff. I wish they would turn the sims medieval into the sims 3. It would be epic if u can just play like you can in the Sims 3. 

There are so many different possibilities!! Just go out and try different things.
