Sims 3 launcher keeps crashing. [SOLVED]

hi guys,
I recently downloaded sims 3 generations via your website and after I downloaded it everything went wrong. The sims 3 would no longer start so I uninstalled sims 3 generations and then installed your ultimate fix program.

I forgot I uninstalled sims 3 generations so I copied the files over which the instructions told me to. After I did that I remembered I uninstalled Sims 3 Generations and so then I started up the sims 3 launcher and my Sims 3 Supernatural (legal), and Sims 3 Seasons (torrent) disappeared from the Sims 3 Expansion Packs bar in the launcher! I tried to start sims 3 and it just wouldn't load up! I then uninstalled all The Sims 3 programs and expansion packs and re-installed Sims 3 and it still doesn't work!

Every time I try to start the launcher it said's 'Sims3Launcher has stopped working and then closes'.

When it closes does it give any error messages?

Might be worth trying to apply the fixes again as it helped another player with the same sort of issue but different EPs as you said in another topic, let us know how you get on

Thanks for replying. It doesn't give any error messages except that Sims3Launcher has stopped working trying to resolve the problem' or something like that (it's too fast to read.)

Thanks for reply! I decided to install Late Night from my CD (since I uninstalled all Sims before) and I opened launcher and it said 'There was an error during startup. Please see Log for more details.' The only button I can press is OK and when I do that it closes the launcher.

P.S When I try by using the TS3W.exe link, it just closes the program like with the launcher.

EDIT: Installed the Ultimate Fix. Follow the instructions and then I opened launcher to update and it came up with same pop-up as before. ('There was an error during startup. Please see Log for more details.')

EDIT: I fixed it! I went to the DDCache folder and deleted missingdeps.idx. I loaded up the launcher and it worked!
