What do u think of Sims 3 University Life?

Apart from new University town, University Life offers a lot more social interactions and a lot more functions than before. Sadly, this EP is more like an 'attachment' to the Sims 3 rather than integrating into Sims 3. Whether you agree or not, this EP is very similar to WA EP, in which WA introduces 3 worlds. The only differences I can think of is that your sim cannot experience the change of seasons in WA worlds. What I think of is that why there is no new lots for the existing towns and if you move your cursor to the people around your sims in the existing towns. You can find out no one belongs to either 3 of the social groups. That means , Your sims are alone. What do u think of this EP?

Totally agree!

Having roommates is cool, but it's really annoying when they leave their dirty dishes and laundry EVERYWHERE and don't ever clean anything up, and crowd your bathroom instead of yours, and use your computer in your room while you're sleeping.

I do that too i put my stuff in my room and lock my door, but for the mess you can ask them to clean the house if want to...

I think it's a great addition to the series. My personal favourites has to be the new harvestables (herbs!), roommates, the coffee bar, the science equipment, cloning and that you can sit while drawing/using laptop.

The Sims 4. Seriously how many expansions are they gonna release? Pretty soon they'll have to start giving a free CPU with every copy.

I personally was really excited for University Life to come out. Counted off the days till the release... then wait for G4TW to post the torrent.
Although I haven't played TS3 for quite a while now. Mainly the reason is because of my cheating addiction. Which is why TS3 gets boring for me fast. I wish I just could ''cure'' myself from the Oh-so-called cheating drugs. But everytime when I ran out of money I always say: ''Oh, I could just use the ''kaching'' cheat, it's not that much right?'' And so after a few hours or a day I spam the crap out of motherlode and move to a rich house,which makes me totally bored. Sadly this is not the only game I'm cheating in. But since I'm turning to the path called ''away from topic'', ill just say my though on this EP. Overally I like it but as cat2006house said, it feels like an add-on or perhaps a huge premium set. I have to admit I mainly got the EP because of the new phones. As far as I remember my current household hasn't been in University for about 4 sim weeks. Mainly because of not being able to get pregnant,married ect. I like the fact that you can get a better job and stuff, but still.

You know what? Even 8 GB RAM computer cannot handle The Sims 3. EA is completely mad. Why are other games smooth, but the Sims 3 is laggy? The graphics and the animations aren't the best among games and there are tons of rabbitholes(which I thought would make the lagging problem not that severe), but it didn't help and I think as a player of the Sims 3, EA (even a lot of legit players said that) ignored the problems of this and continue to promote its EPs without even having to solve the problem. Really, if EA has to make Island Paradise and Time Travel EP (that is what EA said), they would have to provide free CPU and free RAM in their EPs when they sell them. I hope you guys agree!

The memory isn't that important. Games won't use all of it anyway, 4GB is more than enough for The Sims 3.

Sims 3 is heavy on the CPU cause EA couldn't come up with a better way to implement the expansions and decided to implement them as separate games, so you basically have 11 games running at once.

I actually really like University! I just hate all the rabitholes. The preview made it seem like you were doing all the work rather than having all the rabitholes. I don't like how everyone has the same backpack and that there is only one backpack. Which was useless considering the fact that they just hang on the sims back. I love the clothes and the TOM like shoes that came with. I also love the bracelet that came with. They even brought the cinnamon challenge. Although your sims can't actually take a spoonful then spit it out realizing they look like and idiot. You can only challenge or dare a sim to eat [haha] cinnamon. If they actually had a cinnamon challenge there would be too many complaints. I like all the gadgets and new Plumbob iPhone. I like the new guys hairstyle, the one with the beanie. I like the social groups and the irresistible trait too. I guess I kinda do feel like it was an "add on" rather then something having something bigger and better. When you think about it they just added school like chairs, tables vending mahcines, and school items. I wish it was more then that. Anyways the whole new mascot thing was cool I like how your sim can do a backflip. I wish they had Cheerleaders though :l and added football where it was more competive. I also agree that they should start adding CPU. I'm concerned that my laptop won't have any more space for time travel or the new one that's coming out. Wait till Sims 4. I'm going to get a 8.0 Proccessor! and 10,000 GB of RAM! Haha and 10,000 GB of hard drive space and the best processor in the world I bet Sims 4 still would'nt be able to handle it

I completely agree with what you said. Don't even get me started on it's performance when you play it on a Mac. They'll have to provide a free CPU, free RAM, free Windows XP/Vista/7 or 8 installer (though I've heard people say there's problems playing on Windows 8 ) The game kept crashing so much on the Mac side of my computer, it got to the point I was not having fun but instead playing as if I was walking on glass trying not to get cut. Basically, constantly wondering if the next action I choose will crash the game.

EA isn't mad. They know exactly what they are doing and that's taking money and running away with it. Even though they've won the Golden Poo 2 years in a row, apparently they don't care. Why......they got our money. They won't care until they are hit where for them it hurts most; their wallets. People need to stop buying their products however with games like Madden NFL, Need For Speed, and Resident Evil, it's highly unlikely that will happen in the foreseeable future.

Almost. They aren't running cause their customers still give them money regardless, and that's all they are giving.
