Sims 3 freezing. [SOLVED]

Alright, so my computer, is black with a green light that lights up when it turns up ( gee, im give great descriptions ) so it's not the powerfull, and i could get by on the lowest settings, with a moderate amount of mods, and plenty of cc, with just almost no freezing at all. so one day, i decided to get a new graphics card, but like i said, my pc only has a 300 powersupply. ( i should get to the point, yes?) i got the best 300 power supply graphics card my eyes could find, a gt asus 440. the sims is now extremely laggy, and freezes more oftenm it pisses me off, because i felt like i had it better then i did before. my expansions are Ambitions ,Generations,university life.
i thought that uninstalling some would help, but it has barely, and the only thing it has helped is the loading screen. would someone please help me with this?

Try deleting the cache. Delete the folder called DCCache first, and see if it helps.

First I would make sure that there are no issues with your graphics card. For a start, have a look at this article here: http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:TS3_System_Requirements
And make sure to download & install the latest updates for your graphics driver !

Moreover: I suppose you are using the #crack from the "Ultimate fix" ? Using an incompatible crack can cause such problems too.

To elaborate on what Shamrock suggested, try deleting the following cache files (which can be found in My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3):

-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" &
"Thumbnails"

And if you feel that your computer might not be strong enough to handle several expansions, google for a program called "gamebooster" (you should find it on Piratebay too, of course ).

okay, it worked. once in a while i get a 3 second freezing, but thats it. Admin, lady eldi, anybody that has the power, close the topic.
