Hello everyone,
As already warned about in THIS topic, I'd still like to remind you again NOT to UPDATE to any new game version of The Sims 3. (Stick to 1.50 for now) Until, of course, we have updated our Ultimate Fix to support the latest version of the game.
When the Fix has been updated and is fully compatible with the latest game version again, we'll let you know immediately, as usual.

Hello there,
The opening posts specifically says not to post any problems or questions in this topic, but I'll only answer this one: there's no new update available yet. It will generally only take a few days. The longest estimated wait time is about a week. However, it's never taken that long, as long as I've been on this site. So, just watch the site for news on an update.

I didn't have any issues, thank god, with my game not working. I accidentally went to install the 1.50 update and it failed halfway through claiming I had a missing file. Go to my game and it's still working. I dodged a bullet, apparently.

hello you can play with patch 1.55 with a copy
just need to donwload Sims 3 Nrass no cd for 1.55 ( its a package)
after donwload the file just put the package in MODS folder and start the game by going to
---> Game-->Bin-->TS3W and Start the game. Don't start the game via launcher or you will have the error message " Put the Cd to start the game etc''
its work for me!!

This is not what we recommend to do, but OK.
It's not going to work if you use the #crack from the "Ultimate fix"; maybe it will work if you leave out the #crack.

its just a package ,you put in Mod folder and when the crack will release you remove the package and you put the crack
Nrass no cd< is just to play without Cd . As there is people who do not like to use the crack.
But yes you can wait for the crack but if you want play now just donwload Nrass.

To My previous question, I found out that I could Play or run the game without waiting for the patch! I have some of the disks and also the newest one Sims 3 University so I figured I could do the update without the patch that helps people play without a disk. Anyways The update installed successfully and I have now ran the game the Fifth time today with the new installed update and found no problem. I do have most of the expansions through here but didn't know if that would effect it or not.
Anyone curious like me, who has the newest or recent game disk and had some of the games through here I believe you should not see any trouble installing the update without waiting for the patch. I don't know how you have your things set up though just keep in mind! Thanks-

Hello!
So like many, before seeing this thread, I got all excited about the new patch and downloaded it...of course then experiencing the same problems. What I did to get my previous game back (I have the base retail and all the expansions I have are from G4TW), I restored my computer to a checkpoint before I installed the patch, then I used the Ultimate Fix with the manual patch for V1.50, following the instructions, even though it said I already was at that version, I re-installed it anyway. Now my game is back to working order.
I'm now going to wait for the update to come from you guys Hopefully this works for others who are desperate to get their Sim on.
