I Have a Question Empty I Have a Question

I have recently installed a store bought game but it won't let me add any of the expansion packs from this website without updating. I am afraid to update because many people have been having issues updating to 1.55. Should I update from the launcher or the manual path? Also, will I need to apply the Ultimate Fix once I'm finished if I plan to install games from this site?

Ok. Applying the Manual Patch is only if it doesn't work through the Launcher.
Update, then install everything, then copy the files from the Crack folder of the latest Ultimate Fix to C:\Program Files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.
That should do it!

Things will be a bit easier if you update with the "Manual patch". Wink

After that, just put the two files from the #crack folder in the fix (TS3W.exe + TSLHost.dll) into the base game location: C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.
