Island Paradise Create-a-Household Problem

Try to make a new savegame (don't delete the old one yet). Then see if you have similar problems.

The other possibility would be to go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/ and rename the folder "The Sims 3". After that start the game again, make a completely fresh save game and play on for a while.

If renaming that folder doesn't help, please re-name the folder back to its original name again, and we will go further.

Which crack did you use ? The one from the "Ultimate fix" or the one that was included in the expansion ? You should always use the crack from the Ultimate fix.   (if you haven't done so already).

 I used the Ultimate Fix

Some suggest to re-apply that big "manual patch" and then re-apply the "Ultimate fix" too (but only the two files from the #crack folder; the TS3W.exe + TSLHost.dll). But I'm not sure if this can help you, but please try it, still.


Do you know how to post screenshots ?

To make a screenshot, press Prt Scr which is ( USUALLY ) next to F12 , on top of Insert , and next to Scroll Lock. Then you open, for example, a program like "Microsoft Paint" and select the option "Paste". Now you should see your screenshot - then you save your picture.

To upload a picture here, click on "Host image", then select your screenshot. After that you should get the URL (the "internet link") for that picture. Now you go to "Insert image" (the symbol on the right next to "Host image") and paste the URL.

Now I would like to see a screenshot (in "Host an image", please select "Resolution 1024x") of this problem in "Create a household".
