Hi,

Maybe providing some basic information is not a bad idea. Like what kind of channel will it be? Gaming, streaming, vlog, etc.?

Beyond what Admin said, if you e.g. want to make a gaming channel, then it will also matter what type of games you want to do. If you want to focus on shooter-games, then the graphic design might have to be (slightly) different than when you want to do sims-games. Since different game types tend to attract different audiences.

Then there is the usual stuff, like if you want to do commentaries on the videos, what language you want to do them in. Or, the general content of your videos: is is just (the typically more casual) "let's plays" or more instructive videos, etc.

In the long run I'd suggest you try and come up with ideas on your own; you'll have to do this anyhow at some point, if you are serious about the whole idea.

Carlos thank you for your advices.
I plan to film Let's play videos. Genre is adventure shooter or some type of game mixed with a little bit of shooter and now and there stealth mechanics.
I don't want to do commentaries maybe in future when I see viewers responses. Maybe I should film facegame while playing but I don't want to go full speed ahead. I plan to film just clean gameplay. I thought that I film whole story mode or maybe 100% completion and then show some easter eggs, glitches you probably see where I'm going.
At the other hand, how to graphicly represent my channel is a bit difficult. I'm not experienced at making intro and all that stuff but I've tryed. I don't want some 3D amazing intro just plain 2D with some simple geometrical shapes. I'm thinking orange colour yellow and their tones. I want that banner, intro, outro have similar design. I have a lot of ideas just if someone could help me start and then I would do it myself.

I believe that intros/outros are your least problem at this point. They can be worked on or fine-tuned later on.

Instead, try focussing on your videos. Think about it from the perspective from potential viewers like me. Let's say my time is precious, and why exactly should I watch your (uncommentated) videos over the mostly commentated ones from [insert name of big and famous gaming YouTuber here] ? I know this is a very blunt question, but this is the type of stuff you will need to think about sooner or later (preferably sooner). The gaming-video "market" is highly saturated at present, meaning you will need to think very closely about the "niche(s)" you want to focus on. The niche can be a certain game franchise or "playing style", but ultimately, I can't give more specifics.

Other stuff in addition to what I mentioned before: are you willing and able to read tons of comments below your future videos, and take at least part of the audience's suggestions into consideration ? What about livestreams on Twitch or YouTube ? What about maintaining social media platforms for your channel (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) ? Co-operations with other YouTubers, which can be both beneficial but also 'not so good' for you, depending on the circumstances ? Possible co-operations with actual gaming publishers ? Closely related to the aspect of social media, how are you planning on advertising the channel ? Keep in mind that many sites (G4TW included !) may not like the idea of other sites/channels advertising on them.

It might be better to focus on quality from the beginning, and not so much on quantity. My personal opinion is that commentated videos may be better, but it's your call in the end.

One other thing...you decided to post your idea for the channel name in the opening post. Let's say, this may not have been the smartest thing to do and I suggest you change that name into something else, and not post it on the public forums here. Smile  Just mentioning the name of the channel isn't advertising yet, at least not normally. But since this forum is about piracy, it may not look good if your channel is associated with G4TW. And yes, (certain) people are going to google for these things, make no mistake.

//EDIT

Maintaining a (good) gaming channel will almost certainly be a time-consuming and also expensive "full-time hobby". Better do more planning in the beginning, than worry too much about the basics afterwards.
