Can't update ? [SOLVED]

So i just downloaded The Sims 3 Island Paradise and when i try to install the game i get to the part where The Sims 3 needs to be updated, but when i click Yes i want to update i get an error that says that The Sims 3 can't be updated, setup cannot continue? What's up with that? How can i fix this? I really want to play 
? By the way this is the first time i get something like this while installing G4TW Sims games
