Uninstalling Sims 3 gave 0x80070002 error :(
Hi guys, I was here a few days ago asking for help installing.
After promptly following all the steps given and cracking as I was told, it still didn't work. So I figured I uninstall everything and give it another try. Of course, just my luck I've came across some more problems =__=
What happened:
After I uninstalled The Sims 3 + all expansions (the first time), I restarted my computer.
While it was rebooting, it froze, causing me to force quit it. Once it starts up again I ran it in fixed mode. That restored my computer to an earlier time.
Once that was done, all the games I just uninstalled got reinstalled -__-
Then I proceeded to go to control panel > uninstall program, when I tried to uninstall The Sims 3 again that's when it gave me the 0x80070002 error
I've tried uninstalling it manually as prompted herel but I cannot locate folder C05D8CDB-417D-4335-A38C-A0659EDFD6B8.
This is the biggest annoyance ever, and the EA Live Assistance sucks Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, you could download ccleaner and remove all traces of the program in the registry through the program list in the tools tab. Then you could simply delete all of the files found in your program files folder. Hope this helps.

Hello,
Our you could let Revo Uninstaller look for leftover files of previous installations. Just let it search and it'll delete it all for you!
