I have no idea what i am doing

So i've never used torrents before. I've read all the instructions for everything, but i'm completely lost as to what the heck i'm supposed to do to get the games. I'm downloading the torrents for the games but that's about as far as I know to go.

Wait the torrents finish downloading and extract it . Then install the game through instruction.

all it gives me is a bunch of files in a .rar

Yup. Download Winrar to extract it. You can get it by google...

I think they're asking what you do after you extract via WinRar? You click on the installer in one of the folders... right?

Yes.

But be sure to extract your games always in a 'good' place. So you'll never forget what is placed where.
It's easier to find things when you search for them later, and it's less confusing.

Hello,

Please remember to download and install the base game first. You may need to mount virtual discs. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Second, Start the StartDisk.iso and follow the instructions. When you are in the middle of the installation, click on Disk1.iso to continue installation.
Apply the manual patch and then download and install any expansions you want. Double-click the setup.exe after unzipping the files using WinRAR. After installing all the desired expansions, apply the Ultimate Fix. And then you can run the game through the launcher or from C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin\TS3W.exe.

I found out i had to put it in an empty file....heh well they all downloaded i'm just working on the ultimate fix . Thank you all so much
