I downloaded the sims 3 from the games4theworld website, installed it and applied the crack and it keeps coming up with 
Service initialization failed (0x039e8474) 

I also plan to install the sims 3 supernatural 


please help me

Do you have any mods?
Go to Documents\Electronic Arts and rename the folder "The Sims 3" to "The Sims 3.old".
Then restart your game. Does it help?

now it says 'please insert disc labelled sims 3'

no i didnt have any mods, this is my first time installing and im using a Mac

Please apply the Manual Patch and the Ultimate Fix again.

where do you put the sims 3 creator fix on a mac?

I've done that twice and it still says insert disc labelled sims 3:facepalm:
