Error Code 12

Hello. I've been getting Error Code 12 for a very long time but before it didn't occur much.After installing Island Paradise, it is occurring so much that I can't even save for one time. Yesterday, I upgraded my PC's RAM to 4GB (before it was 2GB) but no use. I don't use any mods or CC (only Store Content) I tried every instructions in this website but still no luck.

Please delete the folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3.
Then try again.

Will renaming The Sims 3 folder work instead of deleting it?

All my save games and Store content are deleted ( i have a backup of the save games though) Should i put them back in?

Hello,
Error 12 is not caused by store content, and therefore you can install them back.
Do you have 32-bit OS (Windows Vista,or Windows 7)? if yes, you can try the following to prevent this error (so as to assign more memory to The Sims 3 application):
(1) Open the Command Prompt with administrative rights. (Command prompt can be accessed in Accessories folder in the start menu. Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator)
(2) Type the following and hit enter since you have 4GB RAM installed:
bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVA 3072
(3) Close the command prompt and restart your computer.

Wow! I'm surprised! This is actually working! I played all of my saved games for 3 hours without any error! I thought this wasn't going to work but it really did! EA should hire you. Thank you so much! I hope it doesn't occur again

Sorry! One more thing. Will it be safe to put back the Mods folder? I don't use any Mods but there are Store Fixes inside.
