Quick question. [SOLVED] Empty Quick question. [SOLVED]

Does the cracked copy of The Sims 3 provided by you alert the company or internet provider to the download? The last time I tried to download The Sims 3, I got a letter in the mail the very next day telling me to delete it. I'm living at home still, so receiving that sort of letter again really would not be an option and I'm rather paranoid about downloading this until I know for sure. Was it the version I used, was it something I did, or is this just to be expected?

I used BitLord to get the files and Daemon Tools to mount it.

Can you switch to utorrent or Bittorrent to download the base game and expansions? BitLord doesn't look "safe" at all.
