The Sims Medieval (downloaded from Origin Store) Empty The Sims Medieval (downloaded from Origin Store)

Post by Guest Fri 16 Aug 2013, 19:54

Hi!
I downloaded my "Medieval" and "Pirates and Nobles" today from the origin store, and when I wanted to install the ultimate fix from this site, it turns out that I don't have any files in my medieval folder. In fact, I don't have any of the Medieval games there when I try to get to them through C:/Electronic Arts etc. No game, no gameData etc. Just saves and currentgame. How do I fix this so that I can use the ultimate fix? Should I try to reinstall it?
Thanks.

I assume it would have something to do with the game being downloaded from Origin store, like steam they tend to encrypt the files so that you are not able to copy/play them without starting up the software they are on.

Also the ultimate fix is mainly for the Sims 3 not for medival, unless they got it's own ultimate fix for it

Hello,

There is a fix for The Sims Medieval on this website (called The Sims Medieval Ultimate Fix), but I don't think you need them at all since you've got the legit games. Ultimate Fix is intended to solve problems regarding to "Insert Disk" and "missing text" and etc... And you've got the Origin version for The Sims Medieval Pirate and Nobles, so that's why you don't need the fix at all. If you really need the Ultimate Fix (which can be downloaded here). I am guessing you have gone through the wrong folder as well. That's the folder in Documents. Instead of applying the #crack there, the correct directory should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims Medieval\Game\Bin.
