Worlds not showing up in game. [SOLVED]

Hey guys! I'm new here.   

I recently downloaded most of the worlds from the downloads page (as .sims3packs) and they installed just fine in the Launcher.  However, every single time I play the game they do not show up when I want to create a game and choose a town.  I checked everything and the Installed Worlds folder and Downloads folder both have the .world and .sims3pack files so I'm at a loss.   I followed the directions on another thread about deleting the caches and copying folders to my desktop.  I did that and I tried by just installing Hidden Springs and same thing happened.  Seems to work fine, but just doesn't show up in my game.  I'm on a mac, but I don't think that makes a difference.  I also disabled the in store buying option as a suggested fix and it didn't help.  The base game and all my expansions were bought from EA and not downloaded from here if that matters.

Can you please try using this tool. I'm not sure if it will work but give it a try.

Unfortunately the decrapify tool is for Windows only not Mac.  I could try running it through a program that lets me run Windows programs, but the document says to get someone to run them for me haha

EDIT//Problem solved via chatbox. Topic can be closed.

Solution: We installed the world via launcher. After that, go into My Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3>Installed Worlds and in this folder, you will see the world you installed (worldname.world). Copy and paste this file into "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims3\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Worlds". Then open your game. Done!
