Medieval Shuts Down Computer
I have the Base game as a disk and used the Ultimate Fix with P&N installed from your website as I needed the fix as it my game was being weird.
I did have Grims Core Mod installed to the latest game update (non beta) of 2.13 or something like that. The Mod was the same version as my game.
It shut down my computer.
I removed all traces of the mod and the shut down still occurs. About 20 minutes gameplay then it goes.
I do have testingcheatsenabled 1 on, is this causing the problem? I mean it can't be the mod as I got rid of that...
Just so you all know, my computer ran Medieval fine last time I had it installed with PN and the fix and the same patch number but I didn't use testingcheatsenabled I don't think. I don't believe its a graphical issue or driver issue as it runs alright. Sims 3 runs ok too like no shut down.

Did you try renaming the file with the saves & other game information in it? (I would give you the file location, but I don't have it on my computer anymore, so the best I can tell you is it would be in "Documents)

To be exact, it should be C:\Users\(your computer name)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims Medieval.

Re: Medieval Shuts Down Computer
Anything other than what it is. It causes the game to create a new folder, and it'll be a fresh start as though you just installed the game. This will remove a lot of possible issues, so if it's caused by something else, we can know
And thank you cat, I couldn't even look it up.

May take a while because after taking testingcheatsenabled to 0 now, I can play longer but still crashes. Made my first queen a lovely luxurious purple throne room after her dress and character to love purple...now its gone...
