ISO Files? Empty ISO Files?

Post by Guest Sat 28 Sep 2013, 15:08

Okay I am REALLY new to this site. I just found it today even. I REALLY Like it too.

Anyway, so I have always just used ISO files and mounters for my EPs and Stuff packs. They seem to be harder to find, but less glitchy and easier to update.

Sorry if I missed something, but I was going through everything on this site and I was wondering if you ever do ISO files for the EPs and Stuff packs?

Like I said I am new here so sorry if I missed something.

Hi, Thats a question I'd like to ask too.  I'm new here too and love this site.  Right now I'm downloading an .iso file for seasons ep which i prefer also but its going sooo slow, it says its going to take like 2 days, thats crazy right.  I think I should give up.  Smile do you have a mac also? I seem to have better luck with .iso files though.

ISO Files? Empty Re: ISO Files?

Hello,

Only our The Sims 3 base game is in .ISO format, all the expansion packs are in .RAR format and so will our future The Sims (3) downloads.
We prefer this method not only because we're trying to set a standard, but also because a lot of people don't know how to actually mount an image.

As for The Sims 3 and Mac, find our special guide here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t11808-brand-new-how-to-install-the-sims-3-on-mac-os-guide-read-it-here-now-new - all our The Sims 3 expansion packs work on Mac just fine. Only our base game doesn't work on Mac OS. But read the Mac Guide and you should be able to get it up and running.

Good luck!

Hello,

You're very welcome. Indeed, the problem is that our downloads are optimized for Windows, not Mac OS.
But the Guide I linked you to, will perfectly describe how to create a mountable .DMG file for Mac OS!
