Into the Future- Help! [SOLVED]

Hello.
I have 2 problems. First of all,after downloading Sims 3-Into the Future,I tried installing custom content into my game as usual,but the sims 3 launcher kept closing and said that it's not working.
Not only that,but I also tried playing the game. I know I installed it properly because I have installed other expansions from this site before. I double click on the TSW3 file the game opens and all I see is a black screen,then it is loading and then suddenly it goes to Desktop and I can't go back to the game.
Please help,I was really excited about playing the new game and now I can't play it!

Hello,

Do you have any Mods or Custom Content at the moment?
Try backing those up and then removing all of them COMPLETELY first. See if that fixes the black screen issue.

Can you run the Launcher properly? No errors?

You're welcome, glad to hear that fixed the issue!
You can try putting them back in groups of like 5-10 and then test the game. This way you can filter out the corrupt ones.

Hey! So the game was fine and loaded normally but I had to leave and I decided to play later. The game wanted to update so I used the manually update file that you have on your site. At first I had forgotten to put the crack( )but the game except saying that it needed a CD,worked fine. After I put the crack when I try to double click on the TSW3 file,I have the same problem I had before,only this time the black screen doesnt take me to Desktop but it keeps showing that's it's loading even though an hour might have passed. .-.
I don't know what's wrong with my game.

Do you have the latest Ultimate Fix downloaded? I suggest you redownload a new one here (even though you downloaded it recently): https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems

I heard somewhere that someone accidentally uploaded the outdated Ultimate Fix and caused several issues.

Please delete the following files in C:\Users\(your computer username)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and try again:

Create-a-Sim Cache: CasPartCache.package
Build/Buy mode cache: compositorCache.package
Mod or custom content cache: scriptCache.package
New Sims and skin cache: simCompositorCache.package
SocialCache.package
Look for a folder that says Thumbnails. Delete anything inside of it.
Look for the folder WorldCaches and delete anything inside of it.
Look for the folder SavedSims and delete "downloadedsims.index" inside.

It worked!!
