Need to enter registration code (did apply ultimate fix)

First of all, what an amazing board this is! It has been so helpful, and I repeatedly installed The Sims 3 correctly on my Mac thanks to this. However, this time something's off.

I installed the base game, the razor version. (I first installed the Games4theworld version and some expansion packs and got an exception raised error, I found out it would work better with the razor one on this forum).

Now, I installed the razor version and then the same expansion packs from games4theworld (being: ambitions, late night, pets, showtime, university life, island paradise, generations, seasons). I installed them in the correct order btw.

Each time I start the game, it shows the launcher as it should (1.0.615.00107). Once I click play, the blue loading screen with the green thingy appears, and it stays that way for minutes (that never happened, it always loaded in a few seconds). Then, it shows a EA pop up telling me 'insert registration code here'. This doesn't work and doesn't allow me to continue.

I'm confused, since I did apply the ultimate fix. replacing all the files as said, patching to the last version and then applying the crack once more.

Mac information: Version 10.9 (Mavericks). Processor 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5, memory 4 GB 1333 MHZ DDR 3. Macbook Air 11 inch, 2011.
Note: the Sims has played on this computer all that time (with a lower resolution etc.)
The Sims game version: 1.0.615.00107. When I opt for automatic updates, it says that there are no patches available.

There is a link to download a suitable base game and detailed step by step instructions on how to install your games.

If you do it right, the game version should show 1.63 instead of 1.0

For patches (updates) you must click on "Game Updates" tab from the launcher and click "Refresh".
