Sims 3 Into The Future Time Portal

Jokes aside, have you applied the Ultimate Fix?  You said you manually patched the game, however you never mentioned anything about the Ultimate Fix.  I would highly suggest you check out the first link in my signature, the 'how to use the Ultimate Fix' one.  I made a video as a way to assist people on using the Ultimate Fix and Manual patch.  

Let me know if there is any progress or if you continue to have issues.  No worries, there are lots of helpers on this forum and we'll get your issues resolved as soon as possible.

Uninstalled Into The Future and reinstalled it. Nothing. I thought maybe it was a problem with the patch so I reinstalled v1.63, near the end of the install it gave me the error

"CRC error: The file C:/Program Files (x86)/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/GameData/Shared/Packages/DeltaBuild0.package doesnt match the file in the setups .cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted; contact your software vendor." 

I don't know if these two things  relate but I really just want my game to work.

Hello,

Do you still have the original .RAR file ? If so, make an empty folder somewhere, and re-extract all contents of the .RAR to that folder. Use WinRAR !

Then re-run the installation, and see if it works. Let us know about your progress - good luck !
