Weird Problem with Sims 3

so I need some help. I had the basic sims 3 installed and it was working fine. I then went on to install expansion packs supernatural, late night, and university.  After installing master suite stuff pack I had some weird problems.  It loaded up until the pick a family screen perfectly fine.  But when I get to the pick a family screen, none of the  families I have appear, the drop down menu was blank, hitting play does nothing, the options menu pops up but there are no words and you can't click on anything.  After getting to this point you can't exit the game without using control-alt-delete.  I have applied the ultimate fix, hoping that would work, I have uninstalled and reinstalled, and I still cant get it to work. Please help. Thanks in advance!

I'm assuming you're either missing a step or applying it incorrectly.
So is your game updated to latest version(1.67)?
If not get the Manual Patch from here and update your game to latest version.
Re-download the Ultimate Fix if you HAVEN'T got it recently from here.
Now after you're updated to latest version and have the Ultimate Fix please do the following:
Open the Ultimate Fix folder and go STRAIGHT to #Crack folder.
Copy the content of the #Crack folder and paste it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.
Now open your game and your problem is most likely gone!
