****buy mode never loads and some other issues with the new 1.5 patch

i jus spent forever n a day reinstall the sim3 and now when i open it i have NO expansions now they all disappeared....it asks to do the update to 1.5 or something...what do i do??




okies so i have a combination of problems..i will do my best to expain them to whoever is going to read this...

#1 i have all expansions and when i try to enter the buy mode to do some deco i freeze...completely i have to manually close the game by using the ctrl-alt delete..

#2 i was reading something about a fix and an update do i downloaded the fix and it whiped out most of my expansions and it will not even load now...says there is an update available but when i click nothing...

#3 i had added some custom content and the game runs very slow..so now what i am in the process of doing is re-installing the sims 3 base game...do i need to uninstall and reinstall all expansions or what exactly do i do to cure all of these problems?

if someone could get in touch with me and tell me what to do after this download is done...then do i do the fix or what??

DO NOT skip any steps and RE-DOWNLOAD both the manual patch and the Ultimate Fix. Good luck!

i am in the process of re-installing all the expansions...its gonna take a while LOL...should i continue or jus do the patch now...my base game did update to 1.50.56 with no problems..and each time i add an expansion i check to see if it works...the problem that i originally had was the game would just freeze and i could not open the BUY mode or BUILD mode section at all..they would also freeze on me..

If you plan on playing the game before all those other expansion packs finish installing, you can continue with the steps.
I recommend that you install everything first and then continue with step 2.

currently out there...so i can save my files forever for the sims 3 and

Well, I recommend saving your savegames locally on, for example, a spare USB stick or an external HDD.
If you want to use online services, you can use SkyDrive, MediaFire, MEGA or DropBox. Lots of choices.

back with the same problem again i have just finished following ALL instructions and still when i click on BUY/BUILD MODE it is the continuous circle how can i or do i fix with out having to reinstall EVERYTHING all over again? ty!
