I am well aware that the admin is doing the best that he can. I am ticked off at this other site that i use as well. By the time that site put some of the newer items that came out, sim 4 will have came out. I am looking to get grim manor , igt slots new game and grampa grove and look like no other sites will have this until next year. I know one thing if sim 4 come out in spring, I wont have no need for any of the sims 3 stuff. I do appreciate the stuff that is posted. I just needed to vent. so no need to come in here flame baiting. What he said.

I think the Admin and/or Lady ElDi should reply to this topic too, but on behalf of the team, let me tell you this here:

Compared to the "old times", when the items were uploaded to the Mediafire account, it's now a bit more difficult (i.e. more work) to upload stuff on the new site. You surely have noticed that on the new site, you also have pictures of the items, and descriptions too. This was not the case back then with the old Mediafire account. From what I gather, it's also a bit more work to actually edit the content on that site itself; at least it's not as easy as just "uploading" items to an account like Mediafire or similar file hosting sites.

Moreover, I should also repeat myself: none of us is getting paid for anything here. This means, that our "service" cannot always be as good as paid service. I would even go as far to say that what you folks get here for free is difficult to find elsewhere, even if you pay money.

I am sorry to hear that you feel this thing with the uploading is not happening quick enough for you, but then: from a more pragmatic point of view, if you really want a particular item and you see that G4TW hasn't uploaded it yet, you can always look elsewhere. I'm aware that this might sound unfriendly, but there's not much more I can suggest to you at present (besides waiting longer).

The site is running on it's own server, rather than Mediafire's. A lot of aspects of the site needs to be overseen. Together with the editing of html and (javascript?) and descriptions for each store item, all that has impeded the release of store items.

Second, it's obnoxious to complain about this. Everyone (even Admin and Lady Eldi) has their own real life to carry on and G4TW's service is free of charge. You do not pay for our services, so grumbling how slow the store items are released isn't really helping.

Hello there,

I spoke to Lady ElDi about this today and I know it's pretty frustrating to look at an unfinished website all the time. Sorry about that!

The reason the whole project is delayed, is mainly because of some annoying bugs with the software used to create the website, which causes the program to crash every few minutes. That's not very motivating, as you might understand, so I've an alternative plan to prevent the program from crashing.
After doing that, I can start working on the website on full power again. Just have to find the time to do the thing I have in mind, since it will take at least an hour.

I've set a reminder for next Friday (evening/night), so I should be able to complete the task then.
