Insert Disk?? [SOLVED] Empty Insert Disk?? [SOLVED]

i just finished installing the ultimate fix, and went to go play my game. when i went to launch it, this popped up:

Insert Disk?? [SOLVED] Untitl11

i dont own a disk for this game, since i got it off of pirate bay. pleaseee help!!

Hello,

Look at this topic here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly

and then do the steps #3 and #4. This means, download the Ultimate fix, and then apply it as described in step #4. Good luck and let us know if that worked for you !

P.S. When you're in the base game location, make a shortcut from the TS3W.exe file to the desktop. Use this TS3W.exe-shortcut to start the game, instead of the launcher. Smile

so i did that, and went to open the game from the new TS3W.exe shortcut. then it asked me if i wanted to run it so i hit 'run' and this popped up:

OK, then. Have a look at this video here:





This is for 64-bit systems. If your Windows is 32-bit, then the registry location is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Sims.

In particular, look if you have a registry folder for 70s/80s/90s stuff. According to your launcher, it's not installed, but you may have a registry folder for that, so make sure to delete that, if that's the case.

i never installed that expansion. i would have, but i did not see it on pirate bay. so i did watch the video and go through the steps, but i never installed 70's/80's/90's stuff. so it wasnt there.

This time, apply the "manual patch" as in step #2, and then re-do the Ultimate fix after that. See if this helps; if it doesn't you may have to try a clean un-install though.
