Sims 3 not opening

I'm new here, so I really don't understand, but I'll cut to the chase.
My sims 3 is not opening. I click it, it closes. Even through the launcher when i press play.
Nothing pops up really.
I have expansions and CC. I've tried to move the CC to my desktop, so thats not the problem.
I've renamed my Sims 3 Documents folder to "Sims 3 Backup". Still no luck.
I've tried using TS3 and TS3W but they don't pop up either. The game was working fine yesterday, but stopped working last night.
I installed Sims 3 Diesel Stuff last night but i uninstalled it, and the game doesnt work still.
Please help. Facepalm

Can you please (re-)do steps 2-4 of the guide: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly ?

And that means you need to (re-)download and (re-)apply both the manual patch and the Ultimate Fix.
