Hello everyone! So I'm back to help out in the Mac section, and I'm a little bored on a Sunday morning. I thought I might start up a new off-topic.. And eventually decided to share my hobby ^-^

I understand that not everyone can appreciate this hobby but I thought I will share it anyway. If anyone here happens to have the same hobby it would be mad awesome xD

I have a few hobbies, one of my biggest and, to me anyway, more relaxing of my hobbies is graphics design. Very Happy

Hello,

That's nice work, both of you.

Besides gaming I have a passion for birth rights. I'm part of a movement that consists of people who work with pregnancy and childbirth professionally, and mothers such as myself. We're mostly trying to create awareness for the fact that many interventions are unnessecary, and informing professionals and mothers about how things can be done differently. Currently, too many mothers are harmed during birth and their rights, though present, are drowning in protocols.
I've been treated badly myself when my first baby was born, which resulted in the freebirth of my son 6 months ago, having lost my trust in OB's.

I also feel strongly about vaccination awereness and do a lot of research in that area. My 2 youngest children have not been vaccinated due to what I've learned, and my oldest will not receive any future vaccins.

As for hobbies, I like to read books and I also watch some tv, not much though because I don't care for subtitles and commercialbreaks so I download what we want to watch, which includes Spartacus, CSI, but also Friends. No soaps! I hate soaps lol. I'm also a Star Trek fan, I have a small collection of autographed photo's and models and I've been to conventions in the past.

Edit: I also enjoy doing some graphic design. I've made a few of the banners for the forum, and also created my avatar and signature myself.

Wow, I have definitely learnt something from your post. Where I am, I have never heard of anyone who does freebirth..

Anyway, the point about vaccination awareness has really piqued my interest. Care to share more? Wink

Ever since I got my iPad, I have NEVER used the TV... It is just so much better to watch shows without the annoying commercials!

I love reading rom novels and writing them. I actually just started writing my own story in Wattpad [Title: Wrecked. Click link if you like to read!]. I just started reading novels last summer of 2012 because I was bored out of my mind. Now I have like 232 novels on my ebook reader (which I did not buy, teehee).

Another hobby I like is exercise, I love getting sweaty and tired. I love the feeling afterwards as well, especially after a nice jog around my neighborhood. I never was fond of exercise until November 2012. Even when I had PE classes during my elementary, high school. I just started getting fond of it when I was started to feel restless and lazy and stressed most of the time and I hate that feeling.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I love music. At the moment, I am in love with K-POP (esp. 2NE1, BIGBANG, MBLAQ and 4minute). But I am starting to re-kindle my love for American music thru Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Karmin, Sara Bareilles, Selena Gomez and Avril Lavigne.

It doesn't surprise me that you haven't heard of this. Most people aren't very open about freebirth because other people don't understand and feel that it's dangerous and selfish to go through with it. It's not a decision that is taken lightly, you don't wake up one day and decide to freebirth, it's a process, but being open about it means that you have to be prepared for criticism. I don't usually talk about it myself.

As for vaccination awereness, I'd love to share more. What would you like to know?

What can I know? What kinds of vaccinations should I not receive (although I have received a lot since young. Mandatory vaccinations!!)? I am certainly surprised that you can have freebirth and you know how to go through it.

My hobbies are not as sparkling as you guys. Well, I love to read science-fiction and love to stuff myself with hundreds of thousands of theories (mainly the causes of these) of strange phenomenons (e.g. UFOs, the universe and the things mentioned in science fiction). So feel free to ask me why this and that happens when you cannot find answers in science! My answers are not always correct though Razz

. My favourite book series are the Hunger Games and Wisely.

I also love to listen to music. Music is part of my life. I don't like canto-pop (which originated in Hong Kong and Guangzhou Province of Mainland China). I love English Pop, Country, etc... My favourite singer is Taylor Swift of course, as you can see frequently in my signature.

Hello,

I don't usually tell people what they should do, except point them to various sources that allow for a comparison between vaccinating and not vaccinating. Obviously it can be life saving in some countries when the benefits outweigh the risks.
I'm well aware that I'm in a luxury position, every vaccin is optional in my country and my living conditions are prosperous enough so that I don't have to worry about my children's general health so when they do get ill they're not at risk for complications.
It may not be a good idea for everyone to question vaccins though, but in my/our situation the cure is more harmful than the disease (in my opinion).

Thank you for looking. Yeah that piece was the first one I ever recieved an award for, 2nd place in a DA contest. I love GFX just because you can honestly express yourself though art oft times better than you can with your mouth. Very Happy

As a member of the Blackfoot Nation (US Native American) I approve of freebirth and natural remedies. Modern medicine seems to me to cause a ton more harm then it does good now. Jeesh, the side effects of todays medicines alone are 100x worse than what they are supposed to cure. It no longer about the patient, its about the money! scratch

Go figure.

Have you watched any of Shatner's recent shows? His "William Shatner's Get a Life" stand up is funny and his "Captains" is a trekkie must see, he talks with all the captains from all the ST shows.
Oh and Yeah... I am a Trekkie too. I've been watching Star Trek since the 70s, have every TV episode (from all the shows) and every movie but this years, and I too have experienced the great fun that is a ST convention. Not as often as I wished though lol!

My number one hobby outside of video games is reading. I love going outside (especially to the beach) in the summer/early autumn and just spending all day laying out with a good book. Smile

I dislike that as an American I've been subjected to one "necessary" medical treatment/vaccine after another, but there have been quite a few cases where I've been better off because of ones that are optional (and probably the chicken pox/shingles vaccine too). It's just ridiculous how many people just blindly agree with anything a medical professional tells them, and doesn't do any research about it. My mom's a nurse, so I got raised to question all decisions, and make sure that my voice is heard, but so many are raised to believe that doctors have the ultimate say, and there's no way to go get a second or third opinion without being rude to the original doctor and screwing things up. Sad

Hmm I used to do a lot, before my accident. I used to snowboard and do a lot of cycling. These days I just play games and knit LOL

These 'miniatures' you make, do you choose the items you make randomnly (for a lack of a better expression) or do you put these items into some sort of "context" ? I've heard of people making these miniatures for use in dollhouses, model trainyards or similar things. But then, I'm not an expert on this. Smile

Hey! Well the "minion" is random of course. But for the miniature food, they are all part of a much bigger project. I'm intending to construct my own miniature "Bakery-Cafe". That, of course, is going to take me quite a while to construct, seeing as how I intend to build everything from scratch.

I'm just stuck at the "How Do I Even Begin???" stage. lol.

I personally have a lot of hobbies. I can be that person who changes their interests in a week. Though I have certain things that will always stay my passion. Such as reading (I love reading, once I get into a serious I am gone from the outside world and into my new fantasy like distraction,), Daydreaming (My teachers are not really of fan of this though...), Writing ( I don't do that much writing really, usually I just come up with ideas in my head and it stays there until my mind decides to wipe the dust away and bring that idea back to life and into my thoughts.), art (Not as much as it use to be, now it's just a small hobby I do time to time.), politics/law (A very big passion of mine, I'm very outspoken to the point I can see my teachers giving me this look- and not just any look- but this look that shows they want to sew my mouth shut with my pencil point as the needle and the strands of my unrecognizable doodled note book as the string. It's not my fault I can decipher and understand our society's problems and that I'm opinionated, I just have a lot to say and I'm one of the few who have the guts to say what the believe. I'll never learn when to stop rambling will I?), and lastly (Well, not really, I just can't keep up with every interest/passion/hobby/etc.... of mine because I find the whole world fascinating as a whole. Of course, that might be because I let curiosity rule my mind so much that it might as well have a crown and a bejeweled staff. Rambling again...) photography.

Photography is also a deep passion I have. Most of the time I edit photos (See Bottom for Ex.), but I love taking photo's, too. But it's just a hobby for me.

As you can see I'm completely boring with my hobbies. Facepalm
