Hello all,
I hope this is allowed to post here, but is anyone interested in testing this here ?

I actually downloaded and installed it myself, and so far it looks good. This is just for fun, and nothing else.

P.S. no, this is not meant as an "incentive" for the Admin to rush a G4TW release of that game.

The "only" disadvantage of it seems that the DLC ("Cities of tomorrow"), while *technically* being installed, doesn't show up in-game. This seems to be a problem with the releases from all other uploaders on Piratebay too...but I can live with that. To my surprise, I haven't experienced any crashes or similar issues with that release so far. I actually expected that game to be highly "unstable", but it seems that the game is already patched to the latest available version too - so it seems to be working fine.

Yes, sure.
And if a potential G4TW release has the DLC included, then it would be even nicer - but then, I personally don't really mind it too much. This version from the link in my opening post seems to be patched to the (currently) latest available version. And it seems to be running stable, which is the most important thing.
