Hello,

When the bluescreen shows up, you'll see a "code" starting with 0x0000... now if you could memorize the last 3 numbers/letters of that code, it could tell a lot. Or if you have Windows Vista/7/8, after you get a bluescreen, you should get a window (on the desktop !) after the re-boot, showing you some information about "BCCode" and other stuff. Alternatively, you could make a screenshot of that window.

Other than that, do you have the same issue with other games/applications too ?

No, these numbers are OK, no need to "censor" anything.

The BCCode 116 is a really nasty one though. pale  I had that one myself, and it usually indicates that something is wrong with your graphics card. In rare cases, you can fix this by properly un-installing your graphics card driver, and re-installing it. Or, by un-installing the driver, and installing an EARLIER version. Did you by any chance update your driver recently, before this happened ? Or: if your drivers are old, can you try updating them ?

I'm sorry to tell that, but in most cases however, this indicates hardware damage, again, to your graphics card. Do you still have warranty on your computer or graphics card ? If so, you could have it replaced.

When I had that issue, I actually managed to fix the graphics card (temporarily ?), and I wanted to make a topic on this here, with photos on how to do that. But there is no use starting to explain to you how to do this here, without pictures. And..there are certain "risks" involved in that too. geek

In your case, if you want to give it a try, I can guide you through un-installing and re-installing the drivers, but most likely, this won't help. Another issue is that with this error, you probably won't be able to do much else with the computer. When I had that error back then, I was still able to "start" the computer, but after a while, it shut itself off completely.

Until I make that topic on here (which can take a while, since I'm currently on an extended trip), I can only suggest that you immediately back up all your important files on that computer, and again, if you want, you could try a clean driver install.

//EDIT

There is no 100% guarantee though that the solution I have in mind ("fixing" the graphics card) works for everybody and in all cases. So if all fails, you'll have to order a new card. It did work for me, but it may not work for you.
