Sims 3 errors

Ok so my pc was on windows xp and I did have the base game from origin and then the all in one edition from pirate bay and then the 2 newest expansions from you guys
And it all worked fine until I upgraded to windows 7
I then uninstalled everything and redownloaded everything from you guys and then reinstalled
I've done the ultimate fix exactly how I should have
I've applied updates and patches ect
And whenever I click on sims the launcher comes up with "there was an error during start up please see log for more details" and whenever I try to start the game from bin by clicking ts3 or ts3w it comes up with some sort of error code
So I've spent hours searching
Tried doing things on regedit and whatever but its not working
I'm pretty weirded out though because in regedit there are several different folders with sims in and I deleted some because I thought that might fix it but apparently not
And I don't know if this has anything to do with it but all my sims expansions apart from the base game and into the future and movie stuff are all appearing in my games rather than electronic arts?
Please help me fix this I don't want to have to reinstall either
I honestly regret updating to windows 7 because sims was fine before this :/

I don't know if this will help as I didn't have your problem but I have the 64bit version of Windows 7.
My shortcut's target is C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin\TS3.exe
Only other thing I can think of is trying to run as administrator(right click option).. though from the message you're getting I don't know if that will work.

Tbh I'm probably gonna not use games from this site I'll go back to the all in one version and just not enjoy new expansions. Don't know why I bother.
