Did everything the guide said....no results

Hi,

I installed sims 3 Seasons via the guide for mac. Everything worked out, so after the last step i opened the sims 3 to play. After playing fine for a few minutes i started to wonder what really changed. Nothing did. I installed an EP but while playing there are no seasons... 
What did i do wrong?

It's a common problem with latest EPs.. I'll recommend you to use the latest patch again and crack your game again. It was a really serious problem for some time, and somehow we managed to get it right but we aren't sure how we did it... lol.

Just use manual update here, and update your game. Use Ultimate Fix again, and let me know the result. Good luck! 

So i find out that this was my first downloaded ep, so i didn't have to do the step for when you have already at least 1 ep. I thought it counted all of them the downloaded ones and the bought ones... The answer is No. So i didn't do the step. 
Now in the launcher it shows the Seasons icon, a first for me. Thats why i thought it worked. But now it won't open at all, the screen boas black as usual at this point it should start but nothing happens...i kept waiting. And then this error came:

So first i could just play the sims although it didn't really instal the EP seasons, but now i get this error...and i can't even play it without the EP Seasons...

Hm, I'm guessing that you didn't install the EP in order? That could be the main problem.
I think you need to re-install everything all over again, and make sure you install the EP in order.

If I may chime in : actually order did matter on mac
I recently install some SP over University and I only had a problem with Master Suite, so, I can say that now, SP can be install without order but I wouldn't venture for EP.

Isn't the game modification error a mod problem ?
