Besides re-installing the downloaded copy and cracks and undoing all the patches, is there anything I can do to make the game work again? Not like it was working that well anyways.
Is there a keygen out there that actually works with this game with the most recent patch? I'm hesitant to go looking for a keygen and end up with a virus somehow.

Beyond what is written in that topic I linked to, I'm afraid I can't really add more. WhatDidUJustCallMe?  You may look on Piratebay though, if another uploader has released a "better" version of the game.

Also keep in mind that currently, our priorities lie elsewhere (namely in The Sims 4, which has just been released). This means that updates on existing releases - if at all - won't be coming anytime soon. I'm sorry for that again.
