Late Night and the Crack files

Hey everyone,

Because I have a new computer now I tried reinstalling the Sims 3 on this one. It worked perfectly on my previous computer.
But I bumped into a problem. When installing all the expacs, with Late Night it says the following:

-1. Completely uninstall The Sims 3 + All expansions.
-2. Restart your PC. (!)
-3. Reinstall The Sims 3. DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!


I was confused and I deleted everything and reinstalled the Sims without the crack files (including the Crack 1/2/3/4). I didn't do any of the cracks, so no updating and no copy-pasting files.

But when I want to install and xpac it gives an error with updating. So what cracks do I have to use and what cracks don't I have to use?

Please, remember that the installation guides inside each expansion pack torrent are outdated and must not be used. You can ignore all of the #Crack folders inside the EP's torrents. The correct guide is this one here:

You only need to install them, and not apply any cracks at all. Then, continue with the Step 2 of the guide. The crack is applied at the Steps 3 and 4. Please, let us know how it goes. Good luck!

I think so, yes. It's necessary for the expansion packs that had separate patches before to be completely updated to the last version released for them. But if they are updated, you only need to apply the Manual Patch so that the base game is version 1.67.
