Hello,
As far as I know, the fix only requires G4TW Town Life Stuff and Generations expansionpacks. So you could use versions from other uploaders.
But the fix has only been tested with G4TW versions so you'd have to try.
I've had reloaded base game and vitality Ambitions with G4TW releases and the fix and that worked fine.

It can work actually, but make sure you get a torrent that not been touched. If you get something pre-cracked. You'll fail hard
