"Unable to update ___-file", possible fix.

Hello all,
Are you using the pirated The Sims 4 version from Games4TheWorld ? If so, are you encountering an issue where you get an error message, saying something like...
"Unable to update ___-file, verify that you have access to the file and that it exists".
Under the "____" in my example, there will be the actual name of a file, shown in the error message. There are now 2 scenarios, in which this can occur: 1) when you are installing the game and 2) when you are un-installing the game.
What you do in BOTH cases is that you should actually navigate to the location mentioned in the error message, and then DELETE the file(s) mentioned. Then try installing or un-installing again. In many cases, this fixes the annoying error message.
