Cannot open files to download "corrupted"

I downloaded what was clearly labelled as a version for mac, the installation guide .pdf gives instructions saying all files are .rar when they are actually .exe , how can I get around this?

This is not from games4world.
If you see, it is upload by stjimmy182, who used the games4world expansions.
Also please remove the link as well.
