hello Smile
my english is not so good so ... try to understand me please
now amm ..I installed sims 3 + genertions + town life + late night + ambitions
and installed the fix .
any time when i copy the files ( not crack ) like : the town life - game\bin
genertions - game\bin
and going to the luncher to update
anf click on ( game updates )
and then click on ( ok ) to update
everthing just stuck ..
and the luncher not update enything
i read the guide
and i dont know what to do ..
please help .

Hello,

Do you get an error or something?
If you don't get an error, please install all the games you like and at the step where the Fix' guide tells you to open the launcher and search for updates, just use this manual update: http://games.softpedia.com/get/Patch/The-Sims-3-Patch.shtml

I'm having a problem with updating too, and I tried the manual update but it gave me an error.. I've re installed twice and placed everything from the ultimate fix in the proper folders.

Hello,

Thank you for the link.
Sweet, this error sounds familiar to me. Please try this:

Open the .rar file you downloaded using only WinRar, which can be downloaded from www.games4theworld.org . (If you use any other software than WinRar, like WinZip or 7-zip, the files will get messed up!)
When you've opened the file using WinRar, select áll the files in it and drag & drop them to a folder on your Desktop. When the extraction is done, close the .rar file and open the folder on your Desktop.
Now, start by reading the included "# Installation Guide.txt" and you should be able to get the game to work yourself. Good luck!

It is a .exe file, how do I open it in WinRar? It doesn't give me the option.
Also my OS is windows 7 if that helps at all.

I tried downloading a different patch to manually update and its giving me a region error.
