Cant read instuctions on ultimate fix

Hey,

im trying to add the ultimate fix but the instructions that come with it i cant open, i tried opening them in notepad but it just gave me a bunch of code.
would somebody please be able to post the intstructions here/tell me how to add the ultimate fix

As the Installation Guide is a PDF, you need a PDF viewer to be able to open it. You can find some free ones online, like Adobe Reader, or Foxit Reader. If you do get the first one, make sure to deselect the installation for McAfee at the download page before you click on "Install Now".

A PDF reader is really something essential to have, and you should install one. But if you really don't want to get any of them, here are the instructions as they appear on the Installation Guide:

yup thats right. just download adobe reader and you'll be able to see the instruction. it takes a while for the download. so ill just post the instructions of the ultimate fix here.

The Sims 4 Update / Ultimate Fix- Installation Guide

Updates your game to version 1.2.16.10 of The Sims 4.
This “fix” will give you the latest, working version of The Sims 4. The latest crack is already
included/pre-applied, for your ease.
Why use this fix? The Sims 4 is often updated, so in order to keep up, you can use this fix to get the
latest version without running annoying installers. Besides, it’s easy to have everything you need in
one place. The instructions are pretty straightforward:
1. ADD THE FOLDER WHERE YOU INSTALLED THE SIMS 4 TO YOUR ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE’S
EXCEPTION LIST, OTHERWISE THE GAME MIGHT NOT LAUNCH! (This is a very important
step, so do not skip it!) Your anti-virus software might try to “clean” the crack and break it
in the process of doing so. The files are safe! (It’s what we call a “false-positive” warning)
2. After adding ALL of the installed game files to your anti-virus software’s exception list, go to
the folder where you installed The Sims 4 to. If you installed Games4theworld’s version of
The Sims 4, the default location will be: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\ .
In there, open the folder called “__Installer”. From here, navigate to vc\vc2013\redist. You’ll
see two files called “vcredist_x86.exe” and “vcredist_x64.exe”. Double-click on them both
and install them.
3. Now copy the “__Installer”, “Data”, “Game” and “Support” folders from this .rar file, to the
folder where you’ve installed The Sims 4 to. If you’ve downloaded Games4theworld’s version
of The Sims 4, the default installation location will be: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic
Arts\The Sims 4
A pop-up will appear, telling you the files already exist. Choose “Copy and replace”, to
replace the old files with the updated ones.
4. Start the game and… ENJOY playing the updated version of The Sims 4!
NOTE: The Sims 4 is often updated, so be sure to check back regularly. We might skip small updates
every now and then.
