Store content & patch on legal game? [SOLVED]
I did see some posts asking about downloading pirated EPs on legal basegame, but I cannot find anything related to store content. The instructions confuse me. I do apologise if it has been answered before, I am a total idiot when it comes to this stuff. Anyway, here is my question:
I have bought the sims3 base game and a few EPs through origin. I would like to download some worlds and store content from this site. I notice that everything I bought through origin and the TS3-store shows up in my online profile.
If I download worlds & store content from here and install it, will it show up in my profile? Or do I need to apply the crack first? If the download says I need to install the store fixes, does this also apply to my situation?
Again, sorry if this sounds stupid or if it is a double post, I'm just scared EA will flag my account.

Hi there, @Evert, and welcome to the Games4theworld Forum!
Yes, using the Store Content downloaded from http://games4theworlddownloads.org/ with a legit game should work just fine. That is, if you follow the instructions correctly.
And no, it should not appear in your online profile. What appears in your profile is what you actually bought from the online store, that EA can verify. But EA can't actually scan your game to detect what pirated Store Content you have on it and "flag" you for it. It's unheard of, at least, and it's not really possible unless you log in at the start of the game (and even then, it's very unlikely).
And yes, you still need the Store Fixes even if you have a legit game. They are there to fix some errors that made themselves into the Store Content. You can find the Store Fixes here:
http://games4theworlddownloads.org/ts3/storefixes.html
Good luck, and please let us know how it goes!

Hi @SeoY,
Thank you. When you say 'follow the instructions'. do you mean I need to install the ultimate fix or just follow the instructions for the store content?

Just follow the instructions for each of the Store Content, as there's no need to apply the Ultimate Fix. For example, if it's a Sims3Pack, then you need to either double click it or add it to the Downloads folder in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and install it through the Launcher. Or if they are .package files, then put them in the correct Mods folder.
After that, apply the Store Fixes if needed, and test it out. If you encounter any issues, just let us know so we can continue helping you. Or if they work just fine, also report back so we can close the topic.
Good luck!

Thank you so much. It seems to work. I tested a few objects and venues, so far no problems. My gratitude.

That's good to hear. You're very welcome!
As it's working fine now, I'll go ahead and close the topic. If you ever need anything else, don't doubt to create a new one. Have fun!
